The location was great. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Nothing negative to say.

The only good thing to say about The Drop In was the location for the full moon party!

I could write an essay here but shall just give some key points. • 1 pool closed, the other very dirty • Staff were rude and unhelpful • We ordered room service on day 1 of our stay, when cleaners came in they took plates out of room and left them outside door. We're still there 5 days later when we left. • Advertised as a party place, was dead, nothing going on. • We were overcharged by booking in advance. Prices went down by 700Baht a night compared to what we paid. The list is endless. Awful.

Beds were the worst I have stayed on for the entire 25 day trip around Thailand.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were impressive, including a beautiful swimming pool and a relaxing spa. Parking was convenient, as there were ample spaces available. Additionally, the hotel's location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and the city center. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, satisfying all types of palates. Lastly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

The staff where nice , it was close to the beach but far enough away from all the noise so you could sleep

I stayed in the hotel for 6 days and they clean the room most days but in the 6 days we stayed they did not change the sheets on the bed once even after being asked several times and I would not stay at this hotel again

Location and proximity to thevfull moon party was the only redeeming feature

Pool filthy and unusable. Room was nevrt cleaned. Hotel is very tired and loked like it had nevrr been finished in the first place

The hotel had a great location, close to the main attractions and with easy access to transportation. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing us with useful suggestions for local activities. the hotel offered free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, which was a great advantage.

The hotel did not meet our basic expectations. The room was dirty and unkempt, with dirty towels and a malfunctioning fridge and TV.

The only thing I liked about the Drop In was the location. We stayed here in March 2011 and loved the place. That is why we booked again. This time however, was like staying at a different resort altogether.

1- the Hotels check in. Trying to check in was awkward. We had paid in full 6 months ago however we had to argue with the reception and provide email confirmation before we could get the keys. (This happened to many other guests also and some had to spend ages logging onto computers trying to find old emails to prove payment). 2- the staff. The lady at the front counter was down right rude. With comments like "what do you want" " have you finished" and general scowl and huffing and puffing every time you talked to her about not having power in your room or to request a room clean it certainly wasn't a pleasurable experience. 3- the buffet breakfast that was surpossed to be included was non existent for the first day and then when it did commence it was ordinary to say the least. Fried eggs, little sausages, cooked ham triangles and mini pancakes, all of which were stone cold. 3- the facilities. None of the pool bars were opened the entire visit. We requested room cleans twice through the instructed procedure (via reception) which neither were done. 4- the power to the building was off at varying times which meant you had no ac or running water. Probably at least 25% of our visit which was very frustrating. (Usually after every shower of rain). 5- The Gala Dinner. This was compulsory as or stay was over new years. We got charged over $100 Australian for a dinner that was to take place on New Years Eve. However, the event didn't take place as the resort was without power. We requested or money back but got the same run around we got when we checked in and basically got told that there was no money and the previous manager had left with all the records of the accounts. ( I will be addressing our refund for the gala on return to Australia) 6- I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The have some serious management issues and the entire place appeared to be out of control on every level with no one in charge . DO NOT STAY HERE.

Location was good but it stopped there.

Firstly this place is not a resort or spa and does not resemble the pictures on the website. Two filthy pools, dirty room not cleaned once in 4 days, dirty towels in the room, phone, safe, tv and fridge did not work in room - when complained no one came to fix. Cold smelly water to shower in. Struggled to get toilet paper after 3 nights of room not be cleaned, the man on duty laughed in our face and then try to charge 100baht! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in - best avoided
